A Positive Alternative (APA) offers intensive outpatient programs that are state-certified, featuring gender-specific groups for both men and women. Each group consists of no more than 6-8 participants, ensuring a tailored treatment experience. APA's mission is to integrate substance use treatment with mental health care, utilizing a mix of individual therapy, family workshops, support groups, as well as naturopathic wellness and mindfulness strategies designed to prevent relapse. Through an evidence-based, non-12-Step framework, APA provides an alternative recovery journey that focuses on underlying issues contributing to substance use while equipping individuals with practical tools for enduring change. Clients frequently conclude their time in the program with improved self-relationships and strong bonds formed with peers, building a supportive community that persists beyond their treatment. By emphasizing the importance of both mental and physical awareness, participants acquire essential skills to manage stress, handle discomfort, and effectively deal with triggers—crucial for preventing relapse.
The rehabilitation center focuses on addressing issues related to substance abuse and mental health challenges. Here, you will benefit from personalized treatment tailored to your specific needs and diagnosis, acquire essential skills for your recovery journey, and build meaningful relationships within a supportive atmosphere.
To ensure that we maintain small group sizes and provide personalized, client-centered treatment, we have opted not to participate as an in-network provider for any insurance plans. Nonetheless, your insurance may offer some coverage for out-of-network services, which could result in partial reimbursement for your program.
