Nestled within a picturesque 7-acre setting in the west hills of Eugene, the Adult and Teen Challenge Eugene Women’s Campus provides a faith-based treatment program designed specifically for women dealing with substance use issues. Established in 1960 by David Wilkerson, the network now boasts nearly 250 centers across the United States and over 1,000 worldwide. The Pacific Northwest Adult and Teen Challenge programs require a one-time intake fee of $500, with no ongoing monthly costs for the duration of the program. This women's campus offers a year-long program and can accommodate up to 20 residents. The Bible-centered curriculum at Adult and Teen Challenge centers around three primary objectives: healing from the impacts of substance use, mending relationships with Jesus Christ and others, and fostering personal transformation through faith. Throughout their journey, participants engage in sermons, Bible study sessions, prayer, spiritual retreats, and vocational training opportunities. Life Renewal clinical counseling provides therapeutic support that incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), group sessions, and relapse prevention techniques rooted in Christian principles. As the center does not include medical personnel, individuals are required to complete detoxification before joining the program. To maintain a strong focus on recovery, interaction is restricted to immediate family members, and the use of electronic devices is prohibited. In an effort to promote full recovery from substance use, smoking is also not permitted.
At this facility, the focus is on addressing substance use disorders. They assist individuals in achieving stability, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and accessing empathetic support services.
At the Adult and Teen Challenge Eugene Women’s Campus, we understand that navigating financial aspects can be an important step in your recovery journey. Our program operates on a fee structure of $500 due at the time of intake, which covers the entirety of a one-year stay without any additional monthly costs. This flat fee ensures that participants can focus on their recovery without the burden of ongoing financial commitments. Currently, we do not work with insurance providers, nor do we accept insurance coverage for our services. We believe that our Christ-centered approach to treatment, combined with a supportive environment and various therapeutic activities, makes our program uniquely valuable. We encourage prospective participants and their families to explore this payment option and plan accordingly for the intake process. If you have any questions regarding the payment structure or potential financial concerns, please feel free to reach out to our center for guidance. Your recovery is our priority, and we are committed to helping you on this transformative journey.
