Situated to the southwest of Columbia, SC, the Adult and Teen Challenge New Mexico Men’s Campus provides a Christ-centered approach for men grappling with substance use issues. Established by David Wilkerson in 1960, this initiative has expanded to include nearly 250 centers across the United States and over 1,000 in 95 countries worldwide. Participants in the Pacific Northwest Adult and Teen Challenge programs pay an intake fee of $500, with no further monthly charges for the duration of their stay. The Bible-based curriculum of Adult and Teen Challenge is centered around three primary objectives: healing from the struggles tied to substance use, fostering reconciliation with Jesus Christ and others, and achieving transformation through a foundation rooted in Jesus Christ. Throughout their experience, participants engage in sermons, Bible studies, prayer, spiritual retreats, and vocational training. Life Renewal offers clinical counseling that integrates behavioral health support with Christian principles, employing methods such as CBT, DBT, and relapse prevention. Importantly, Adult and Teen Challenge does not have medical staff, necessitating that all participants complete detoxification before entering the program. To ensure focus on recovery, communication is restricted to immediate family members, and electronic devices are prohibited. Additionally, smoking is not permitted, as the center's aim is to support overall recovery from substance use challenges.
At this facility, the main focus is on addressing issues related to substance use disorders. The team works with you to achieve stability, develop strategies to prevent relapses, and link you to caring support services.
At the Adult and Teen Challenge South Carolina Men's Rehab, our primary focus is on providing comprehensive, Christ-centered recovery services for men struggling with substance use concerns. We understand that the financial aspect of treatment can be a significant consideration for many individuals and families seeking support. To facilitate access to our programs, we charge a one-time fee of $500 at the time of intake. This fee covers the entirety of the program, as we do not impose any additional monthly costs thereafter. It is important to note that our center operates without medical staff; therefore, we require participants to have completed detoxification before admission. While we do not accept insurance directly, we encourage potential participants and their families to consult with their insurance providers about possible reimbursement options. Additionally, our staff can assist with providing necessary documents and information that may be required for claims. We are committed to creating an environment conducive to recovery, and we appreciate your understanding regarding our policies, which aim to minimize distractions and foster a focused healing experience. For further inquiries about payment options or to discuss potential financial assistance resources, please feel free to contact our admissions office.
