be Collaborative Care is a dedicated program for treating eating disorders, providing customized treatment approaches and different tiers of outpatient care. Situated in Providence, Rhode Island, be Collaborative serves adolescents, adults, and members of the LGBTQ+ community who are facing challenges with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, compulsive overeating, and other disordered eating habits. The center aims to address the root causes of these issues, as well as any associated mental health conditions like anxiety and depression, by combining personalized and group therapy with nutrition education and movement coaching. The facility offers two intensive outpatient programs (IOP), one scheduled in the morning and another in the evening. The morning program meets four times a week, while the evening program meets five times a week. Both programs include meal support and group therapy, addressing issues such as body positivity, personal values, and self-esteem. Participants also engage in practical activities, such as mastering challenging tasks (like preparing meals, grocery shopping, cooking, and dining out) and improving their communication skills with family and friends. be Collaborative exclusively works with commercial insurance and does not participate in any Public or Community plans. Commercial insurance is provided by private and public entities, as opposed to governmental programs. The center does not accept Medicare, Medicaid, or other state-supported health plans, including options like UnitedHealthcare Rite Care or Neighborhood Health Community Plan.
