Located in a welcoming setting in Cape Cod, A Place for Girls offers support to young women aged 12 to 17 and their families through the Adult & Teen Challenge program, addressing issues related to substance misuse, emotional challenges, and co-occurring disorders. They offer a 3-5 month faith-driven residential program, where young females can access a safe environment to discover hope, gain independence, and receive much-needed support. Each resident is provided with opportunities for a fresh start through Biblical Counseling, Christian teachings, and dedicated 24/7 care. Unlike many other treatment facilities, A Place for Girls is dedicated solely to enhancing the health and wellbeing of adolescent girls facing tough times. It is among the few short-term residential treatment programs in the United States that specifically target the unique challenges girls in today’s world encounter. Graduates from A Place for Girls depart with a stronger self-image, a renewed enthusiasm for life, practical life skills, and a profound sense of healing and blessings. The program emphasizes personal growth and recovery. Depression, anxiety, and various life challenges can lead to behaviors such as substance use, self-harm, running away, anger issues, theft, vandalism, and other unmanageable actions. At their group therapy center, the team at A Place for Girls assists young women in navigating these hurdles. A Place for Girls recognizes the transformative power of positive outdoor activities in enhancing connections with the world, life, and faith. As a Christian-centered organization, they offer biblical teachings and counseling within a home-like setting. Each girl engages with essential Christian teachings as part of the New Testament Christian School Homeschool extension program, along with individual, group, and family counseling with a Biblical Counselor.
The Rehabilitation Center specializes in addressing substance use disorders alongside mental health issues. Patients benefit from personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and diagnoses, acquire essential skills for their recovery journey, and foster new relationships in a supportive setting.
At Bloom A Place for Girls, we understand that accessing treatment for adolescent girls facing substance use and emotional difficulties is a significant commitment for families. We accept a variety of insurance plans to make our services as accessible as possible. Our team is dedicated to helping families navigate their insurance benefits and will work closely with you to maximize your coverage for our faith-based residential program. In addition to private insurance, we also provide information on payment options, including self-pay arrangements, sliding scale fees, and potential financial assistance programs for those who may need additional support. We believe that every girl deserves the opportunity for healing and growth, and we strive to ensure that financial barriers do not hinder access to our life-changing services. We encourage families to reach out to our admissions team to discuss specific insurance providers and coverage details. Our mission is to support each young woman on her journey toward recovery and empowerment, and we are here to guide you every step of the way.
