Building Bridges has dedicated the last twenty years to supporting young males aged 14 to 18 as they navigate issues such as substance abuse, rebellious behavior, academic struggles, learning disabilities, and personal challenges. Their highly respected program emphasizes family participation, individualized therapy, outdoor experiences, recreational activities, and the principles of 12-Step recovery. The duration of the program is tailored to each individual, allowing young men to advance through different levels while utilizing the on-site educational facility as needed. The accredited high school curriculum ensures that students can transfer their credits to high schools across the nation, endorsed by Cognia, a prestigious accrediting organization. This setup permits students to engage in a healing atmosphere while pursuing their education. Building Bridges offers a flexible curriculum that adapts to the unique educational needs, talents, and aspirations of each student. Throughout the academic year, students experience a wide range of activities. Each weekday begins with group meetings before heading to school. After classes, the young men return to their residence for some leisure time to complete their assignments. Each evening, they participate in various activities post-dinner, such as group dialogues, town meetings, or community events like basketball games in the school gym. The weekend schedule includes a day of therapeutic work on Saturday followed by a movie night, and Sunday is dedicated to leisure, which could involve activities such as paintball, softball, gym workouts, or skiing at a nearby resort. Family involvement is crucial to the rehabilitation journey, with weekly updates provided to parents by counselors regarding their child's progress. Regular conference calls occur involving the parents, students, and counselors to address any concerns collaboratively. Visits from families are organized throughout the year, allowing parents to engage with the local environment and community activities. Set on over 45 acres in the scenic northwestern Montana, Building Bridges accommodates up to 24 young men in a modern residential facility, which features ample living and dining spaces, a full professional kitchen, and additional amenities. The property boasts private river access, offering opportunities for water skiing, tubing, or simply cooling off on warm days. Building Bridges excellently merges the supportive environment of a larger facility with the intimate connections that can flourish in a less crowded space.
The rehabilitation center specializes in addressing issues related to substance abuse and mental health challenges. Here, you will benefit from personalized treatment tailored to your specific needs and diagnosis, acquire valuable recovery skills, and build supportive relationships within a healing atmosphere.
