Desert Hope Outpatient is dedicated to delivering outpatient services for individuals grappling with addiction and coexisting mental health issues through a comprehensive range of care and customized treatment approaches. The various outpatient programs include day treatment, otherwise known as partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient care, and general outpatient services. During their treatment, clients can stay at a nearby sober living facility. Clients have the option to engage in specific levels of care or transition smoothly throughout the continuum, based on their evolving needs. The most intensive service offered, day treatment, typically lasts from 1 to 2 weeks, running five days a week, where clients dedicate around 6 hours daily to treatment. They partake in researched therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing methods, and the 12-Step approach. In the intensive outpatient program (IOP), clients participate in sessions around 3 days per week for a duration of 3 hours per day. General outpatient services are flexible, providing varying hours of care based on individual requirements. At Desert Hope Outpatient, every participant is provided with a recovery strategy designed to fulfill their specific needs. Treatment encompasses options for individual, group, and family therapy as preferred. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is also provided when necessary. Desert Hope Resolutions features independent sober living options, where clients share communal living areas and kitchens, fostering a collective atmosphere for meals. Transportation is arranged for both treatment sessions and group activities. Ongoing support is available through an alumni network, an alumni mobile application, and support meetings addressing various subjects like grief, LGBTQ+ issues, and strategies for preventing relapse.
