Offerings include wilderness expeditions, hiking, biking, rock climbing, personal fitness training, participation in various sports leagues, and skiing. Foundation House owns a therapeutic ranch spanning 120 acres, where individuals can partake in hiking, enjoy pool facilities, and engage in winter activities. The center also organizes an annual international trip for clients, providing them with opportunities to immerse themselves in new cultures while participating in volunteer projects. Additionally, Foundation House offers academic and vocational support, guiding clients in job searches, enhancing their academic skills, and crafting resumes. A family program is available, offering information from licensed clinical psychologists, family support meetings, and onsite workshops for relatives of clients. The primary focus of Foundation House is on treating substance abuse and alcohol dependency issues, co-occurring disorders, sex addiction, and trauma/PTSD. The center also emphasizes developing interpersonal skills and helping clients overcome challenges like the “failure to launch.” A variety of financial options are available, including monthly self-payment, sliding scale fees, and scholarships for their Joint Commission-accredited programs.
The center focuses on addressing substance use disorders, assisting individuals in achieving stability, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and connecting them with supportive resources.
