Saratoga Springs, New York 12866

Nestled in the tranquil setting of Saratoga Springs, Four Winds Saratoga provides specialized care for children aged 5 and older, teens, and adults experiencing mental health challenges within its 88-bed private psychiatric facility. The center employs tailored treatment strategies that encompass cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and medication oversight. Their residential, day, and intensive outpatient programs hold accreditation from the Joint Commission and certification from the state of New York. Residents are permitted to use cell phones and engage in Zoom calls at the close of each day. Four Winds accepts clients around the clock, accommodating both voluntary and involuntary admissions. The name Four Winds is inspired by a verse from the Bible, specifically Ezekiel 37:9-10, which conveys a message of revival and hope through the breath of life coming from all directions. For adults, Four Winds provides residential, day, and IOP services; for adolescents, the offerings include both residential and day treatment, while children receive care exclusively in a residential format. The facility features distinct areas designed for children and adolescents, with integrated educational programs to support their development. Up to two adult visitors are allowed per week by appointment, each for a duration of one hour. If in-person visits are not possible, virtual connections via Zoom are available.
The rehabilitation center focuses on mental health challenges and concurrent substance use disorders. Patients benefit from a tailored approach that promotes comprehensive recovery by addressing both concerns simultaneously.
Four Winds welcomes various insurance options, including third-party insurance, Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield, New York State Medicaid for individuals under 22 and over 65, Managed Medicaid for all age groups, as well as Medicare.
