Initially, residents share rooms but have the opportunity to transition to smaller accommodations as they progress. LifeHouse also supplies meals, clothing, and personal care essentials, guaranteeing that no one is denied assistance. The program includes more than 80 hours of weekly programming aimed at enhancing mental and physical well-being. This encompasses support groups, therapy sessions, fitness activities, and creative expressions through art and music. Each resident receives individualized case management to help establish objectives, develop essential life skills, seek employment, and tackle mental health or substance use hurdles. LifeHouse prepares men for a hopeful future with job training opportunities in areas such as construction, culinary arts, and manufacturing. They assist residents in obtaining a GED, pursuing further education, improving financial knowledge, and acquiring counseling certifications. LifeHouse organizes job fairs, linking residents with employers including Amazon, UPS, and Mariano’s. Additionally, weekly guest speakers provide motivational insights on recovery, encouraging residents to remain focused and inspired on their path toward a better life.
