The center features round-the-clock supervision, nutritional instruction, and support from dietitians, along with educational assistance from on-site teachers and tutors. The team at McCallum Place is made up of a range of specialists, including psychiatrists, psychologists, family therapists, medical doctors, nurses, dietitians, and professionals in sports medicine. Participants in the residential program benefit from individualized attention, including at least one personal session with their psychologist, three individual meetings with an eating disorder therapist weekly, and sessions with a dietitian. The care team collaborates weekly to assess clients' goals and advancements. Support is also provided around meals and snacks, and the center is equipped to offer intensive medical interventions, such as nasogastric feeding, if necessary. McCallum Place addresses various disorders like anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, laxative dependency, and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID). Additionally, they tackle concurrent mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, self-injury, OCD, and personality disorders. The center provides various treatment levels such as residential care, partial hospitalization, an intensive outpatient program, and transitional living options. Furthermore, McCallum Place offers the Victory Program, a focused recovery initiative for athletes, which combines eating disorder treatment with athletic support through the collaboration of sports psychologists, coaches, and dietitians.
