NuLife Behavioral Health provides extensive and customized outpatient services, including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programming, and conventional therapy options. Situated in Framingham, Massachusetts, the center employs effective, evidence-based techniques that are holistic and consider gender differences, specifically aimed at assisting adults dealing with substance use issues and concurrent mental health challenges. At NuLife Framingham, individuals with dual diagnoses can receive thorough and integrated care, especially for addiction intertwined with mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder. The therapies utilized include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), biofeedback, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), alongside various holistic and experiential approaches that may be integrated into personalized treatment strategies. The partial hospitalization program (PHP) serves as a transitional option between inpatient care and standard outpatient services, tailored for individuals requiring in-depth substance use intervention while not needing continual medical oversight. Participants engage in PHP for five days a week, dedicating seven hours each day to treatment, which allows them to continue with certain daily responsibilities. NuLife implements a well-structured daily regimen that includes life skills training, stress management sessions, emotional regulation groups, group therapy, and individual or family counseling. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) serves as a follow-up from PHP, emphasizing the maintenance of recovery and the promotion of independence. This program offers more adaptability, enabling patients to access necessary treatment without significantly impacting their everyday lives. Individuals receive clinical guidance, educational tools, aftercare support, and community connections with peers facing similar challenges. Dedicated clinicians develop individualized treatment plans and closely monitor each patient’s progress through regular evaluations, allowing for adjustments based on the individual's response to therapy. Typically, participants remain in the IOP for 6 to 12 weeks, with duration varying according to their progress and specific treatment needs.
