Situated in the southern region of Birmingham, the rehabilitation center provides two distinct levels of care: partial hospitalization programs (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). The PHP acts as both a preventative measure against the need for hospitalization and a transition option for those moving away from inpatient or residential care. This program allows clients to access extensive support through 6 hours of treatment each day, five days a week. The IOP is designed for individuals noticing a rise in their symptoms who are not seeing progress in their existing therapy or outpatient services. Clients can participate in this program for 3 hours daily, 3 to 5 days a week. The center's team of professionals is skilled in addressing various mental health issues, including anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and co-occurring neurodivergent conditions. They employ a blend of evidence-based and alternative therapies aimed at holistic treatment. Common therapeutic approaches provided include acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), experiential therapies, mindfulness practices, yoga, nutrition therapy, and exposure and response prevention (ERP).
The rehabilitation center specializes in addressing mental health disorders alongside substance use challenges. Here, clients benefit from personalized treatment plans that integrate care for both areas, promoting overall well-being and recovery.
At Odyssey Outpatient Network, our centers are affiliated with numerous major health insurance plans nationwide. Additionally, we welcome out-of-network benefit coverage from other significant insurance providers. However, we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid.
