At Pathfinder, the virtual treatment model is tailored to fit the lives of clients seamlessly. There are no set start or end times, allowing individuals to engage in care for as long as necessary and schedule appointments according to their availability. For those dealing with substance use challenges, Pathfinder provides a comprehensive virtual care continuum that includes medical evaluations, detox support, culturally-sensitive counseling, peer coaching, and options for medication-assisted treatment (MAT) or psychiatric care. All services are provided through secure online platforms, enabling clients to receive effective treatment from the comfort of home. The treatment approach is meticulously crafted to eliminate obstacles—whether emotional, medical, or logistical. Their virtual offerings deliver an equivalent standard of care to that found in traditional residential centers, without requiring clients to pause their everyday lives. The journey can begin with in-home detox, featuring daily telehealth consultations with medical professionals. Subsequent treatment is personalized, addressing each individual's unique needs—ranging from MAT and peer coaching to mental health therapy and specialized support for pregnant or postpartum clients. Their harm reduction philosophy ensures a compassionate, non-judgmental environment with diverse paths tailored to each person. Clients benefit from four weeks of complimentary aftercare, which includes weekly clinical guidance and peer support, facilitating a smooth transition back to everyday life. This additional support system fosters accountability, encouraging clients to apply their newly acquired skills while navigating ongoing challenges.
At this facility, we focus on addressing substance use disorders alongside related mental health issues. Our individualized treatment approach ensures that each condition is managed simultaneously, delivering empathetic care aimed at holistic recovery.
Pathfinder Recovery collaborates with Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, BlueCross BlueShield, United Healthcare, and Medicare in Connecticut, and also accommodates a variety of other prominent insurance providers on an out-of-network arrangement.
