Long Description: Located close to Akron Fulton Airport, Restore Addiction Recovery offers a free, Christ-focused, 4-phase residential rehabilitation program specifically for men struggling with alcohol and drug dependency, alongside nicotine addiction. This smoke-free facility provides various activities, including worship sessions, gardening, cooking workshops, and art evenings, while also organizing offsite outings like bowling. Onsite parking is available for convenience. The program spans one year. Phase 1, known as Foundation, consists of 30 days of both individual and group therapy, during which participants familiarize themselves with the program and each other. At the conclusion of this month, they have the option to continue into the subsequent three phases over the following 11 months. During this initial phase, participants are prohibited from making phone calls. Phase 2, Discovery, takes place during months 2 to 5. Participants engage in work and family interactions every other week, with their earnings contributing to funding Restore. Families are welcomed to the center on the fourth Sunday of each month. Phase 3, Application, occurs in months 6 to 9, featuring morning devotionals and up to 40 hours of work weekly. Participants earn a paycheck during this phase, and upon returning to the campus, they receive essential life skills training related to financial and legal matters, with family visits continuing on the fourth Sunday each month. Phase 4, Launch, focuses on preparing participants for transition during months 10 to 12 by helping them envision their lives post-rehabilitation and identifying methods to contribute to the community. Restore Addiction Recovery is dedicated to adult males seeking transformative life changes who are receptive to Christ-oriented teachings. Admission is voluntary, and individuals with a history of sex crimes, arson, active warrants, or those on parole or probation are ineligible. Participants must be capable of hands-on tasks and chores and are not permitted to receive disability benefits while enrolled. The use of Suboxone, Subutex, Sublocade, or methadone is also restricted. Additionally, Restore Addiction Recovery collaborates with nearby Grace Church in Bath and Norton. The center does not charge residents for their stay; instead, it is funded through partner businesses that employ participants during the second and third phases, alongside individual donations and prayers. They provide regular ministry updates via a newsletter.
The focus of this center is on addressing issues related to substance use disorders, guiding individuals towards stabilization, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and facilitating access to empathetic support.
At our facility, participation does not require any payment or insurance coverage.
