The Rogers’ Eating Disorder Recovery adult program is located on a picturesque nine-acre property that features both prairie and wooded areas in Delafield, Wisconsin. The facility contains therapeutic gardens and comfortable living and treatment spaces, fostering a calming and restorative environment, just a short two-mile distance from the main site in Oconomowoc. In this adult eating disorder treatment program, participants engage in a structured daily routine filled with diverse therapeutic activities. Each day includes three hours of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) aimed at transforming unhealthy thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. Individuals also experience Exposure and Response Prevention sessions twice per day to help them face and lessen their fears and anxieties. Additionally, experiential therapies such as gardening, recreational activities, and art therapy are offered once or twice a week to strengthen their coping strategies. Family participation is an integral part of the treatment process, highlighted by weekly family therapy sessions and a monthly Family & Friends Program that provides psycho-educational resources, shared meal times with patients, and supportive group meetings. Additionally, patients attend individual consultations with both a dietitian and a therapist regularly, and they meet with a psychiatrist two to three times each week. Group sessions centered around nutrition are conducted weekly by a registered dietitian, focusing on vital nutritional knowledge.
