The focus at Seven Arrows Recovery is on trauma-informed, strengths-based care that prioritizes the unique needs, objectives, and personal development of each client. At Seven Arrows Recovery, treatment is offered for primary addiction alongside co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and trauma. The center utilizes a range of evidence-supported therapies to support clients in addressing these conditions simultaneously. Therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodrama, art therapy, EMDR, narrative exposure therapy, equine-assisted learning, and motivational interviewing, among others. Each client at Seven Arrows Recovery is paired with a dedicated therapist for the duration of their treatment, having sessions once or twice a week. Clients engage in four hours of group therapy each day and participate in two hours of additional therapies, which include equine-assisted learning where each client is assigned one of 30 horses. Other holistic offerings encompass trauma-informed yoga, gardening, fitness activities, stargazing, outings, and ceremonies at the sweat lodge. Additionally, Seven Arrows Recovery integrates Indigenous practices, culture, and traditions within their treatment framework. Family visits are encouraged on Sundays from 2-5 PM, and clients have the opportunity to use their phones for half an hour each evening and make necessary business calls. Upon completing residential care, Seven Arrows Recovery can facilitate a transition to outpatient services, and if required, they assist in arranging detox services before admission. Alumni can participate in weekly meetings and on-site 12-Step gatherings, with various alumni events held throughout the year.
