Spruce Mountain Inn is dedicated to helping young adults achieve their personal, educational, and independent living aspirations by focusing on mental health challenges and offering tailored life skills development. Their residential and transitional living options cater to issues such as depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and other related disorders. Utilizing evidence-based and experiential approaches, they support young adults aged 18-28 in overcoming detrimental behaviors and avoiding triggers to successfully navigate adulthood. The center offers a range of evidence-based treatments, including family therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). In addition, they provide group therapy sessions, 12-Step program meetings, psychoeducational gatherings, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy. A significant component of Spruce Mountain’s approach is its career development program, where clients participate in local internships and life skills workshops. This initiative enables clients to establish career goals, develop essential skills, and gain practical job experience. Furthermore, to foster enhanced independence, educational support is available. The career and education coordinator assists clients in accessing online classes or enrolling in local university programs to further their academic ambitions during their stay. Clients at Spruce Mountain can partake in various experiential and creative therapies centered on adventure, art, movement, and music activities. Off-site excursions may include visits to local art and music events, museums, movie outings, thrift shopping, and beach excursions. Their adventure group participates in hiking, rock climbing, skiing, and canoeing, while the movement group offers organized sports and activities like volleyball, basketball, tennis, frisbee, and gym workouts. Situated on an expansive rural property, the Spruce Mountain Lodge features shared or individual accommodations, a cozy lounge, recreational space, an art studio, and a TV room. Residents enjoy meals prepared by a chef, access to yoga sessions, fitness equipment, musical instruments, and an outdoor dining setting. During their nine-month program, technology and social media usage are regulated. Clients initially begin their journey at The Inn, then progress to The Apartments for transitional living with staff support, and ultimately to The Greatwood Lodge for independent living without staff supervision. Typically, treatment lasts around nine months and can support up to 22 clients simultaneously. Spruce Mountain accepts self-payment for the services provided.
This facility specializes in addressing mental health disorders along with concurrent substance use problems. Patients benefit from tailored, team-based care that focuses on both challenges to promote comprehensive recovery.
At Spruce Mountain Inn, we understand that navigating the financial aspects of treatment can be daunting. We strive to provide transparent and accessible information regarding payment options for our programs. While we offer self-pay options for our residential and transitional living programs, we also encourage clients to explore their insurance coverage to determine potential benefits. Spruce Mountain Inn is committed to supporting young adults, ages 18-28, in achieving their vocational, educational, and independent living goals. As part of our comprehensive approach to mental health treatment, we aim to make our services as accessible as possible. Our team is knowledgeable about various insurance policies and can assist clients in verifying coverage and understanding out-of-pocket costs. We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to inquire about coverage for mental health services, including residential treatment and therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and group therapy sessions. Clients are encouraged to ask about any co-pays, deductibles, and limits on the number of covered sessions. At Spruce Mountain Inn, we believe in the importance of individualized care and treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs. We are here to guide you through the process of funding your treatment, helping you focus on your journey toward recovery and independence.
