Eastman House, located in the center of Midland, has been dedicated to assisting men in their recovery journey since 2013. Initially established as a residential treatment facility, it now provides sober living arrangements for up to 14 individuals. The center, conveniently situated near parks, retail outlets, and various community resources, creates a nurturing and organized atmosphere for those committed to transforming their lives and overcoming substance use. Residents typically reside at the center for a period ranging from 90 days to two years, participating in 12-Step or alternative recovery initiatives as well as outpatient therapy with Ten16 staff members. The facility operates on a foundation of collaborative leadership among residents and staff, promoting accountability, mutual support, and collective decision-making—thus fostering an environment centered on achieving sobriety and encouraging personal growth. Within the residence, a warm and inviting ambiance awaits, featuring a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable seating areas, and wheelchair accessibility for convenience. The layout consists of three single rooms, three double rooms, one quad room, four full bathrooms, and two half-baths. Additionally, a computer room with a table hockey setup provides an opportunity for focus and enjoyment during periods of reflection.
The center provides treatment for substance abuse issues as well as related mental health disorders. Each patient's treatment strategy is tailored to address both conditions simultaneously, ensuring compassionate care that promotes overall recovery.
At the rehabilitation center, Medicaid and the Healthy Michigan Plan offer financial assistance for housing expenses during your initial 90 days of residency. You won’t need to provide a security deposit to relocate.
