Each patient undergoes an initial assessment to identify their strengths and areas requiring assistance. Wholeview Wellness employs a range of therapeutic techniques including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), relapse prevention strategies, community reinforcement approach (CRA), and two structured psychodynamic treatments: mentalization-based therapy (MBT) and supportive-expressive therapy (SET). These approaches help address the underlying factors related to substance use. The team consists of highly qualified professionals, including PhD-level psychologists and Masters level clinicians who specialize in addiction treatment. Additionally, they offer medication management and medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) as required through Wholeview Direct. Wholeview Wellness does not participate with any insurance networks, with costs structured on a per-session basis. Wholeview Direct, their fully online program, is in network with NYS Medicaid and most managed Medicaid and Essential Plans, including Healthfirst, Molina, Fidelis, Metroplus, VNS, CDPHP, MVP, UHC, and Carelon (covering Emblemhealth, Hamaspik, HIP, VillageCare MAX, Elderplan, Amidacare, and Independent Health).
