Youth Home, Inc., founded in 1966, is a nonprofit facility for psychiatric treatment situated in Little Rock, Arkansas. Its mission is to empower and support youth, adults, and families, enabling them to achieve better mental health and to actively contribute to their communities through compassionate behavioral and emotional health services. The center provides a range of care options, including a Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) designed for youth under the care of the Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS), as well as an Intensive Residential Treatment (IRT) Program. These programs cater to adolescents aged 12 to 17 who face significant mental health issues, including reactive attachment disorder (RAD), anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD/ADD, and OCD. The treatment model features an acclaimed Recreational Therapy Program and an educational curriculum sanctioned by the Arkansas Department of Education. With a caregiver-to-client ratio of 4 to 1, teens receive tailored support to meet their individual needs. Beyond residential care, Youth Home runs an outpatient clinic known as Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas, which provides therapy to families, individuals, couples, and parents of all ages. This clinic includes a school-based therapy initiative aimed at helping children whose emotional, behavioral, and social difficulties are hindering their academic success.
