APT North Haven Clinic provides comprehensive support for individuals dealing with substance use issues and concurrent mental health disorders. Their services include various therapy formats such as individual, group, and family sessions, along with medication management and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). The center hosts an intensive outpatient program (IOP), scheduled three days a week, that encompasses a minimum of 9 hours of group therapy, psychiatric evaluation, and individual counseling. The clinic emphasizes trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). They also facilitate daily discussion groups covering a diverse set of topics such as trauma resolution, stress management, grief, relapse prevention, psychoeducation, goal-setting, acupuncture, expressive arts, tai chi, horticulture, and mindfulness practices. For medication-assisted treatments, clients may receive options such as methadone and buprenorphine, all under the supervision of trained psychiatrists who manage prescriptions and adjustments as needed. In response to public health situations, therapy can be accessed via telehealth. Additionally, APT North Haven Clinic provides family and couples counseling aimed at fostering healthier relationships for those experiencing mental health challenges. Having been established in 1970, APT Foundation is dedicated to the provision of substance use treatment, prioritizing access to care irrespective of financial circumstances, and following an open access model that welcomes clients without regard for their ability to pay.
The rehabilitation center specializes in addressing substance use issues alongside co-existing mental health disorders. Each individual receives a tailored treatment plan that focuses on both conditions simultaneously, ensuring a holistic approach to recovery through empathetic and dedicated support.
Our Open Access Model allows for quick entry into our treatment programs, ensuring that financial limitations do not obstruct your path to recovery, while also offering immediate access to a variety of voluntary treatment choices.
