Citizens Memorial Hospital, located in the southwestern region of Missouri, provides comprehensive care for individuals aged 6 and above, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors over 50, who are facing mental health or substance use challenges, in addition to various healthcare needs. The services offered are primarily outpatient. The center is staffed by an interdisciplinary team composed of physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, and licensed clinical social workers, who address both mental and physical health concerns. For younger patients, collaboration with school counselors is available to facilitate continuous academic engagement while receiving necessary support. For seniors, they provide specialized assistance for conditions such as Alzheimer's, dementia, and other cognitive impairments that may impact their overall quality of life. Their treatment methodology integrates proven therapeutic techniques alongside medical interventions. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is utilized to help clients navigate their emotions, reshape negative thought patterns, and strengthen interpersonal relationships. Additionally, their medication-assisted treatments (MAT) for substance use disorders—utilizing medications such as Suboxone, Vivitrol, or Sublocade—are designed to alleviate cravings, allowing clients to concentrate more effectively on the mental and relational dimensions of recovery. Mental health services are provided at the Bolivar Family Care Center, with options for both mental health and substance use treatment available at the adjacent Butterfield Park Medical Center. Services are offered on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and walk-in sessions at the Bolivar facility are available between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Clients can conveniently access their medical records and billing information through a dedicated online patient portal.
The rehabilitation center specializes in addressing substance abuse issues and mental health challenges. Here, you will experience personalized treatment tailored to your specific circumstances and diagnosis, acquire practical skills for your recovery journey, and foster new relationships in a supportive atmosphere.
The center accepts a wide range of primary insurance providers, and there are options for financial support. It is advisable to reach out to your insurance provider to verify your coverage and benefits. Patients will need to handle any co-pays, co-insurance, or deductibles themselves. CMH allows payments via cash, check, or credit card.
