The Eating Disorder Center of Montana (EDCMT) was established by a trio of committed women aiming to deliver professional and accessible treatment for eating disorders to those in need. Since its launch in 2013, EDCMT has expanded to include over 20 staff members across two locations. This center offers intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), and virtual outpatient services, catering to both men and women aged 16 and older. To guide clients towards a fulfilling life, the Eating Disorder Center of Montana employs a comprehensive strategy that integrates evidence-based therapies with holistic practices like music, art, and yoga. During their treatment, clients engage weekly with a personal nutritionist and twice weekly with a therapist. Group sessions cover a variety of topics, including nutrition education, process groups, meditation, outdoor activities, mindfulness, cooking classes, and moments for reflection. For clients over 18 years of age, the Eating Disorder Center of Montana provides accommodation outside Bozeman, Montana. This welcoming, upscale residence accommodates up to six clients at once and is conveniently located within walking distance of the treatment facility. Most of the bedrooms are shared, and residents have access to a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living space, and laundry facilities.
