ERC Denver - Franklin St. offers a comprehensive residential program designed to guide children and adolescents of all genders on their journey to recovery from eating disorders, provided they are medically stable. The center features a dedicated team of professionals who offer round-the-clock assistance, including ongoing observation and daytime medical and psychiatric care, specifically focused on eating disorders and related mental health issues. ERC emphasizes tailored treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic sessions, educational components, medical care, and involvement of family members, all aimed at facilitating optimal physical and mental wellness. At ERC, patients participate in therapies grounded in evidence-based practices while cultivating essential recovery skills applicable in everyday life. They benefit from individual, group, and family therapy sessions, which allow them to delve into personal issues, develop coping mechanisms, and share experiences with others facing similar challenges. Registered dietitians assist in creating a structured and supportive approach to meal planning, highlighting the importance of balance, variety, and adaptability. The center's main facility is thoughtfully designed, with input from current and former patients shaping everything from the artwork to the color schemes and spa-like bathrooms. High-traffic areas, including bathrooms and dining rooms, have been updated to include quieter flooring, noise reduction features, and calming, nature-inspired lighting. Patients enjoy comfortable sleeping quarters, and a modern teaching kitchen is available for practical learning in meal preparation and emotional coping strategies. In addition to the residential program, ERC provides day treatment and intensive outpatient options, ensuring that support is accessible at every stage of recovery. Their day programs operate 5 to 7 days a week, allowing patients to apply their skills in real-life contexts. Intensive outpatient care is also available 3 to 4 times a week, enabling individuals to balance therapy with their educational, professional, and family obligations while receiving ongoing support in areas such as therapy, nutrition, and meal assistance.
At this center, individuals seeking recovery from eating disorders receive comprehensive support, designed to help manage symptoms, develop effective coping strategies, and regain their physical well-being through professional guidance.
