Intermountain Residential provides assistance to children aged 4-13 facing behavioral health issues. Located on a sprawling 40-acre campus in Helena, Montana, the facility features three cottages that accommodate a total of 24 children. The rehabilitation program includes comprehensive clinical evaluations, tailored treatment plans, various therapy sessions, medication oversight, an accredited school on-site, and a range of engaging outdoor and community-based activities. Utilizing a Developmental Relational Model, Intermountain Residential focuses on meeting the unique needs of each child through relationship-oriented experiences that foster cognitive growth. The clinical staff evaluates attachment and connection dynamics through a developmental perspective. Each cottage is staffed with a therapist, ensuring that therapeutic support is woven into the fabric of everyday living. Intermountain is dedicated to helping children cope with trauma, grief, emotional instability, social challenges, academic issues, anxiety, and depression. The multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, nurses, licensed therapists, milieu counselors, certified educators, and supportive staff, provides customized care within a nurturing and therapeutic setting.

At our center, tuition fees are determined on a per-day basis. For families who are privately covering the costs, we provide a discounted rate for those who are underinsured or uninsured. Please note that our daily treatment charges do not encompass costs related to psychiatric evaluations, medical consultations, medications, or dental and vision services, as well as travel expenses, speech, language, or occupational therapy. Additionally, we require a one-time enrollment fee and a deposit for 30 days' worth of services to be paid upon admission.
