Located in the downtown area near Route 1, Liberation Programs' Stamford facility offers counseling services in both residential and intensive outpatient (IOP) formats. The residential program can accommodate up to 64 clients simultaneously. While the primary focus is on in-office sessions, telehealth appointments are available to accommodate clients as necessary. Liberation Programs utilizes a harm reduction strategy to engage clients at their current stage of recovery. The services include individual, group, and family counseling sessions, along with medication options like Buprenorphine, Naltrexone, or Suboxone to help mitigate cravings and support treatment objectives. Even for those who may not be ready to cease drug use completely, Liberation provides assistance to prevent overdoses and stocks Narcan (naloxone) for emergency situations. For pregnant and parenting women, Liberation Programs offers specialized residential care that addresses individual and family requirements through trauma-informed therapy. Mothers are permitted to bring along up to two children aged 0-10. This program, known as Families in Recovery Program (FIRP), features customized life skills training and peer support aimed at facilitating the family’s reintegration into the community. Moreover, Liberation Programs provides preventive services designed to assist both adults and youth in the community in sidestepping addiction and mental health challenges in the future. The staff includes recovery coaches, including those with specialized knowledge in supporting pregnant or parenting clients. For families requiring housing during their recovery journey, Liberation offers 18 housing units. Their mobile outreach vans deliver treatment referrals, medication prescriptions, and educational materials. The team also participates in community events and school programs to raise awareness about substance use.
The Rehabilitation Center specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders alongside related mental health issues. Here, each individual's treatment approach is tailored to simultaneously address all conditions, ensuring a holistic recovery supported by empathetic and individualized care.
At Liberation Programs, we are committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder individuals from accessing our services.
