The Ashland Counseling Center, a division of Addiction Recovery Care, provides a range of outpatient services such as individual and group counseling, 12-Step programs, Celebrate Recovery sessions, peer support, targeted case management, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). They offer intensive outpatient programs (IOP) with adaptable scheduling options, aimed at individuals who do not require medical detox supervision. In a typical day within the IOP, clients engage in personalized individual and group therapy that meets their specific needs. The program incorporates evidence-based methodologies and faith-oriented support meetings, including Celebrate Recovery. Additionally, clients benefit from vocational training to enhance their employment capabilities. Peer support and case management play a vital role in the daily routine, with classes available 3 to 5 days per week during mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Among the distinctive offerings are same-day appointments, vocational education, and career-building prospects that assist clients in reestablishing their lives with defined objectives. The vocational training equips clients with critical job competencies, enhancing their ability to secure employment while supporting their ongoing recovery. This training encompasses various practical skills that are attuned to individual interests and market requirements, including resume preparation, interview skills, computer literacy, and specific trades like carpentry, culinary skills, or customer service. The center's faith-based approach features spiritual care services, chaplaincy support, and recovery meetings that align with Christian principles, such as AA and Celebrate Recovery. These initiatives promote reliance on a higher power and recognize the significance of spiritual health alongside physical and emotional wellness, creating a well-rounded and empathetic recovery experience.
The focus of this center is on addressing substance use disorders, guiding individuals toward stabilization, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and linking them to empathetic support systems.
