Hazel Hills is a detoxification and residential facility exclusively for women, focusing on the treatment of substance use disorders. The center employs a holistic program that features CARF-accredited clinical services and medical care overseen by an addiction specialist. With a foundation in Christian principles, Hazel Hills integrates 12-Step support and offers chaplaincy services, alongside vocational training options. The first phase of their four-phase treatment program is dedicated to detoxification and the creation of an individualized care plan. Upon arrival, medical staff perform comprehensive physical and mental evaluations to customize the treatment experience. The medical detox process ensures a secure environment for clients to withdraw from drugs or alcohol, with medication-assisted therapy provided as necessary. Hazel Hills’s residential track emphasizes a holistic approach rooted in Christian values, aiming to address the entire individual—mind, body, and spirit. Clients benefit from around-the-clock support from addiction specialists and participate in evidence-based one-on-one and group counseling to identify triggers and learn new coping mechanisms. The facility hosts AA, NA, and Celebrate Recovery meetings, and clients have the opportunity to transition into an intensive outpatient program with a sober living option for ongoing care. In the second and third phases, the focus shifts to peer support and equipping clients with essential skills for re-entering work or educational settings. Hazel Hills offers spiritual growth opportunities, continuous individual and group therapy sessions, and ongoing 12-Step meetings. Life skills training includes specialized employment readiness and educational initiatives. During the final phase, clients engage in an internship program designed to cultivate practical life skills. Upon completion of the program, clients are awarded a Health and Human Services certificate from Sullivan University, which can be applied toward Sullivan's two-year associate or four-year bachelor’s degree programs.
This facility focuses on addressing issues related to substance use, providing assistance in achieving stability, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and connecting individuals with caring support systems.
