Relocation Expenses

 Maximum for 2022 is $1,000

A consumer is only eligible for relocation assistance once, except in extraordinary circumstances.

UNDER NO CONDITION WILL RELOCATION BE PAID MORE THAN ONCE EVERY TWO YEARS.

To be eligible for relocation assistance the consumer must:

• Determined eligible for vocational rehabilitation and have completed an IPE
• Have a job offer or scholarship that is adequate to cover the monthly rent
• Be employed or in school full time in the area to which the consumer will be relocating
• If relevant, provide documentation of denial of funding from other programs, for example, Community Action.
